The Traitors' Harry and Mollie (let's also not forget Jazatha Christie) made for an absolutely iconic finale, and the appetite for the record-breaking BBC gameshow has never been more intense. But will there be a season three of The Traitors? And how long might we be waiting for it?
While we decompress from the sight of Claudia Winkleman's OTT outfits, and reel over the idea of a Celebrity Traitors spin-off, we've pulled together everything you need to know about The Traitors' third season.
Will there be a Traitors season 3?
Short answer, yes. And thank goodness.
The highly anticipated second season only went to surpass fans' expectations, while also bringing in crowds of brand new viewers (seriously, the people came in their millions).
The BBC was confident it had a growing hit on its hands, with a third season getting the green light long before the latest batch of episodes even made it on to iPlayer.
Bosses confirmed the renewal on November 3 with a statement from Kalpna Patel-Knight, the Head of Entertainment at the BBC.

"The massive unscripted hit The Traitors will be back for a third series. Expect to see more psychological gameplay, exciting challenges and of course Claudia at the helm," it said.
"It will be a thrilling ride for both avid fans and newcomers to the series for sure. The BBC will always remain faithful to The Traitors."

How to be part of The Traitors season 3 cast
Think you could be the next Diane? Or Paul? Or get to the final and take the entire pot, like Harry?
Applications are officially open and the hunt is on for a new batch of Faithfuls and Traitors, but you don't have very long.
You can put yourself forward on the BBC website, but you must be 18 years of age or older in order to apply. The closing date is currently set for February 11, 2024.
If you do happen to make it in becoming one of Claudia's newest Faithfuls, finalist Jaz has some wise words of how best to play the game.
"You have to get the balance right at every single opportunity. Not be too quiet, not be too loud, and just sit back and observe. And as a Faithful, you have to graft, you have to work so hard. Being really hyper vigilant, listening to all sorts of conversations," he told Digital Spy and other press.
"And in terms of the dynamics of relationships, don't get too close to people – it's not a popularity contest – but don't be so far away from people. Think about when and where you’re going to share information, and who to."
The Traitors season 3 release date
There's currently no confirmation as to when we might expect new episodes, but with the casting process still underway we'll be waiting a while before filming even starts.
The first series landed on the BBC at Christmas time in 2022, and the most recent season played out in January 2024.
By this pattern, we have around a year to wait.
