The Traitors' Diane Carson's shocking family connection to the show has been revealed to one of her co-stars following her iconic exit.
The second series of the hit BBC reality tv show has been full of twists and turns, including Diane's revelation that it is not, in fact, Traitor Paul Gorton who is her son as the contestants expect... But Ross is.
The fan-favourite character was given a poison chalice by Miles Asteri, sealing her fate as the next contestant to be murdered which the fellow players had to deduce during a high-stakes funeral challenge with £7,000 on the line.

"One of the nicest things you said to me was 'your children would be proud of you'," Diane said to Miles, to which he agreed 'they would be'.
Diane continued to tease her news, saying: "Do you know one of them particularly is proud of me?" before simply adding "Ross".
Miles threw his hands to his face while exclaiming "No!" with Diane laughing and offering him a "Cheers!" with her glass.
"Do you know what now that you say it, you can see it," Miles finally responded, but Diane wasn't having any of it as she replied: "Oh well no you didn't."

"Are you still going to love me?" she asked, which, of course, Miles said he would, and that he still loves Ross for good measure. Diane revealed that she is "so proud" of Ross and his time on The Traitors, with them saving their final cheers for him.
After Diane's dramatic exit, the theatrics for the episode were not over as last night's (January 17) roundtable saw the Traitors turn on Miles with him banished from the castle.
Paul, who seemed certain to go, broke down in tears and was congratulated by the unaware faithful, though fellow Traitor Harry Clark pondered whether he was going too far with his acting.
Host Claudia Winkleman asked the Traitors if they wanted to recruit a third Traitor to the team in the absence of Miles and Ash Bibi, but who will they choose?
The Traitors airs Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights at 9pm on BBC One.
