Married at First Sight UK star Jess Potter has announced her engagement to her boyfriend TJ O'Reilly.

Jess shared photos and a video from the couple's romantic trip to Barcelona on Instagram, revealing the moment TJ got down on one knee in front of the iconic La Sagrada Familia.

"Just in case I didn't mention it....WE ARE ENGAGED!!! most perfect engagement ever," she captioned a sweet clip.

The star also shared eight photos from the romantic moment on the social media site, writing: "So this just happened. The most perfect moment...I love you."

Friends and fans quickly took to the comments to congratulate the couple, including MAFS season seven co-stars Whitney Hughes and April Banbury.

MAFS celebrant Dave Octave also shared the happy news to his Instagram Story, writing: "When your MAFS bride finds the one who is right for her! Congratulations @jesspotter_xx and @tjoreilly."

Jess took part in the 2022 edition of the E4 reality dating show, being matched up with Pjay Finch. However, things didn't work out with the pair as they became one of the first couples to leave in the experiment.

Jess and TJ's engagement news came around a month after she shared they had suffered a miscarriage. The reality star, who has been candid in sharing her IVF journey online with followers, confirmed the news in an emotional update on her social media.

"I wasn't sure if I was going to post this or not," Jess wrote. "But I said I was sharing my journey and this is the harsh but true reality of IVF and infertility. Nothing is certain. Now time to heal. Mentally and physically."
