Top Gear presenter Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff has made his first public appearance since his on-set accident.
The former cricketer was hospitalised back in December 2022 following a crash at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome, where Flintoff was filming scenes for the latest series of the BBC motoring show.
He was pictured at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff as England's men's cricket team faced New Zealand for a One-Day International series, with the star leading the team out as he put them through their paces with fielding drills.

He was later seen on the dressing room balcony as the match got underway, though it is understood he's only working with the team in an informal capacity.
"He's obviously an England legend and it's just nice to have him around the group," said England captain Jos Buttler (via BBC Sport). "A few of the lads can pick his brains a little bit and he's settled in really well. It's great to have him with us. Just for this series."

Following Flintoff's accident, the BBC announced that it had cancelled filming on the 34th series, with a spokesperson saying: "Under the circumstances, we feel it would be inappropriate to resume making series 34.

"We have sincerely apologised to Freddie and will continue to support him with his recovery. We understand this will be disappointing for fans, but it is the right thing to do, and we'll make a judgement about how best to continue later this year."
They also added that they would conduct a safety review following the incident, whilst executive producer Clare Pizey left the show following the series 34 cancellation, bringing an end to her seven-year stint.
There is currently no news on the future of the show.
