Top Gear star Paddy McGuinness has given fans a positive health update on Freddie Flintoff following his car accident.
The former cricketer-turned-presenter was hospitalised after an on-set accident last week while he was filming for the BBC in Dunsfold Park Aerodrome.
In an Instagram post, McGuinness hinted at Flintoff being on the mend, writing that he will be back "before you know it".

"@aflintoff11 is loved and will be up and at um before you know it! The three of us are back this Sunday with more new @topgear including a trip to Italy, best family cars and our very own postal service! Obviously we filmed this ep earlier in the year."

The cricket star and McGuinness became part of the cast of Top Gear in 2019 as a replacement for former Friends star Matt LeBlanc, a co-host between 2016 and 2019. Both joined Chris Harris, who had regularly appeared on the show since 2016 and was upgraded to main presenter in 2017.
Top Gear airs on BBC One on Sundays.
