Earlier this month, Richard Osman shared that he'd got married to Ingrid Oliver, known for playing Petronella Osgood on Doctor Who, alongside roles in British classics such as Peep Show and Silent Witness.
And, it seems that Osman's wedding ceremony was far more terrifying than presenting primetime shows to the public.
Osman appeared on Loose Women today (December 16), and shared how he'd suffered from pre-wedding jitters.

He said: "Yeah, it’s terrifying to get married. All of our friends were there, there’s so much you have to organise, you’ve got the band, the booze, the ceremony, all that stuff.
"And also, it was so filled with love that day, everyone we knew, everyone we loved, people from school, from my whole life, were there, and you just think, 'Just don’t get it wrong.'"
The happily-married man then explained: "Of course, the second you’re there and standing opposite each other, doing the vows, you know it can’t go wrong. But beforehand it was absolutely terrifying."
Just a week ago, Osman shared a photo from the ceremony to Instagram, in which it's clear that nerves quickly made way for happiness.

He captioned the post: "The most magical, joyful day on Saturday with my beautiful wife @ingrid_oliver. Surrounded by wonderful friends and family, a day full of love and laughter. We're so, so happy ❤️❤️"
Osman will have plenty of time to soak up his newlywed bliss, having stepped down from co-hosting Pointless earlier this year in order to focus on his bestselling books.
However, you can still catch him on weeknights on Richard Osman's House of Games, which happens to be where he and his new wife met.
Pointless airs weekdays on BBC One.
