Steph's Packed Lunch host Steph McGovern has shared thae reason she's turned down appearing on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.

Speaking to Entertainment Daily, Steph admitted that she's been asked to appear on the show multiple times but has always been forced to decline the offer due to medical reasons.

"I'm not scared about eating things," she explained. "My main worry is about how my body would react. You see, I'm the type of person who gets a small bite and then my whole leg swells up."

The presenter continued: "I've also got IBS too so I'd be scared that if I ate something that disagreed with me I'd probably end up sh***ing myself on TV. It's not mentally how I'd deal with it, but more physically how my body would work."

This isn't the first time Steph has opened up about her health struggles. Back in July, she took to Instagram to explain how long stints working on Steph's Packed Lunch can often make her "poorly".

"This time I have a bad ear infection and blisters in/around my ear/hair/face. It has been agony. I'm on a load of different drugs to try and treat infections and ease pain," she wrote.

"Some of them are antibiotics, which has totally buggered up my gut health (you know how obsessed I am about that) so my IBS is back in full swing being a total b*tch."

One reality show we could see her appear on in the future, though, is Strictly Come Dancing, after she was unmasked as Tomato Sauce on The Masked Dancer earlier this year.

When asked earlier this year if she'd ever be up for taking to the ballroom floor, Steph replied: "Never say never! I've turned it down in the past, but never say never."

Steph's Packed Lunch airs weekdays at 12.30pm on Channel 4 and All 4.
