The Apprentice is coming back next year!

The BBC has confirmed that Lord Sugar will once again be searching for a new business partner to invest £250,000 in when the competition returns for series 17 next year.

He'll be joined by some familiar faces too, as Karren Brady and Tim Campbell will return as his right-hand people, while the notorious Claude Littner will also be back for two episodes. We'll also see some familiarity on the spin-off show The Apprentice: You’re Fired, as Tom Allen will return to host.

As for the contestants, for the first time since series 13, Lord Sugar will be choosing between 18 candidates with plenty of tasks to separate the wheat from the chaff. Amongst the challenges the businessman has in store? Everything from a trip to Antigua to flog excursions to tourists, to creating a cartoon, as well as an insight into the world of male beauty.

As for if we'll be seeing any co-star romances this year, we'll have to wait and see, though the show is no stranger to seeing the contestants getting a little romantic with each other.
