Former Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby has revealed her partner Jake Ankers' sweet reaction to the potential drama surrounding her ex Gary Beadle ahead of Geordie Shore: The Reunion.
Charlotte and Gary were two of the original cast members on the MTV reality series and their relationship was very prominent on the show, though they eventually split up after an on-and-off-again relationship and a tragic ectopic pregnancy.
Charlotte is now expecting her first child, a daughter, with Jake, but she admits that she was "really worried" about her previous relationship with Gary being brought up in the reunion and how Jake would react to it.
"I was actually really, really worried," she explained in an exclusive interview with Digital Spy. "Because obviously me and Gary were a huge part of Geordie Shore, and I knew that it was going to get brought up a lot, and I knew that it was going to be played on because obviously it's going to be played on.
"Everyone wants to know, everyone wants to talk about it. So I really did worry, because I was in a new relationship with Jake, and it's something that we've never spoken about. Gary's never even come up in conversation.
"And I was like, 'Ah'. I kind of kept putting myself in his position, because you think 'how would I feel if he was going somewhere where all people are going to talk about is him and his ex?' I was so nervous for it."

Charlotte went on to explain how in the first episode she texts Gary and, though she told Jake about it, she wasn't sure how it would actually come across on screen and "panicked" when the advert came out.
However, Jake had no worries himself, as Charlotte continued: "I walked in the house, and Jake was sat on the settee, and he just went 'f**k that Geordie Shore advert was good wasn't it?!'
"He went 'I know that of course you're going to want to play on it.' It's going to come up, he went 'yous were a big part of the show but I'm not silly. I know that's going to happen'.
"And I was [breathed out] as I really panicking about it."
Geordie Shore: The Reunion starts Tuesday, September 20 at 10pm on Paramount+ UK and MTV.
