It was a night of reunions in the latest episode of Love Island (July 14) – but with every recoupling, there's bound to be a dumping.

The evening started full of promise as some old couples reunited and others got a chance at exploring new connections.

Dami put his public speaking skills to good use as he dazzled Indiyah with a romantic speech – and a peculiar salon reference – before the duo finally recoupled.

"I'm just so happy that we're both in a position that we know we want to choose each other always," said Indiyah.

Andrew and Tasha also followed suit with their own recoupling, with the model later on admitting they were "meant for each other" and organising an entire treasure hunt for him – leading up to her asking him one crucial question.

"Andrew Le Page, will you be my boyfriend?" she asked, before the rest of the villa erupted in cheers as the two kissed.

"We do have one messed-up, complicated story – but I love it," Tasha admitted. "It is our story."

It was also a chance for new connections as Adam coupled with Paige ("I could speak to her all night"), Billy with Danika ("I feel like we have something we can work on"), Josh with Summer, and Deji with Coco.

However, it was Josh and Summer who quickly took things to the next level, sharing a kiss in the garden after playfully poking fun at each other for their sleeping habits.

"It was good and now I clearly cannot stop smiling about it," said Summer.

And after weeks of going strong and remaining unswayed by new additions in the villa, Gemma and Luca uttered the 'L' word.

At the end of the evening, everyone was ready to simply busk in the feeling of being in love and the perks of new connections – or, as they simply put it, the "cuddles".

But the feeling of comfort can only last so long. To quote Ekin-Su, the next evening felt "too lovely".

In a shock twist of events, Love Island announced that two islanders will be leaving the villa in Friday's episode.
