The First Dates Pride special tonight (June 30) compiled its best LGBTQ+ couples from its past seasons for a one-off episode. And it brought back quite a few memories of exuberant and quirky couples for fans.
The episode featured an elderly queer couple that reminisced of the difficulties of their younger years, a sarcastic lesbian and even two Georgias, amongst other heartwarming and hilarious couples.
A few minutes in and fans couldn't help but turn to Twitter to express their enthusiasm over tonight's theme.

An especially favoured couple was the older gay pair that stole viewers' hearts by sharing their experience living a closeted life back in the 70s and 80s, during a time that one of them feared being perceived by anyone as gay walking down the street.
"I grew up in the age of HIV and AIDS and it was quite a frightening time to be," said one.
"It is fabulous being myself now," said his partner, who admitted to being overcome by anger back in the 70s if he was called gay but now feeling irritated by anyone assuming him to be straight.
But the highlight was definitely the return of the Georgias, the two women who were surprised to find each other at the restaurant – because one of them had dated the other's niece.
However, the chemistry proved undeniable for the duo and they did close their date with a kiss and a promise for more.
First Dates airs on Channel 4.
