Taskmaster: Champion of Champions spoilers follow.

The winner of the second-ever Taskmaster: Champion of Champions special has been revealed.

Thursday night's (June 23) one-off episode brought back some of the most-loved winners from previous series – Liza Tarbuck (series 6), Kerry Godliman (series 7), Lou Sanders (series 8), Ed Gamble (series 9) and Richard Herring (series 10).

This special featured the contestants pulling out all of the stops to become the Champion of Champions, including destroying bath toys, dodging flying bananas and painting on skates.

The battle was tight during this special episode, with Liza Tarbuck finishing runner-up with 14 points (and a fake beard she can bring home). At joint third place, Lou Sanders and Kerry Godliman scored 12 points.

Ed Gamble came in last place with 11 points, but at least he has one win in his past! There's always the next Champion of Champions special…

Richard Herring is one of only two Champion of Champions in the Taskmaster franchise, following The Last Leg star Josh Widdicombe's win in the 2017 special.

Producers have also announced the cast for series 14, with Dara Ó Briain, Fern Brady, Munya Chawawa, John Kearns and Sarah Millican rounding off the cast with Greg Davies and Little Alex Horne returning to present.

Taskmaster airs on Channel 4. Series 14 has been confirmed.
