Love Island USA-style is on its way back to our screens! Love Island US, the American incarnation of the reality dating show, officially has a release date for season 4 – and there's not too much longer to wait.
The series confirmed the much-anticipated return date on Twitter on Wednesday (June 8), teasing: "Summer just got a lot hotter. Steaming 7/19 only on @peacockTV." That means US fans will get to enjoy more super hot hookups from July 19, with six episodes airing a week.
It's not yet clear if or when UK viewers will be able to get in on the US action, though past seasons have aired on ITV (which just so happens to be the home of our beloved UK version).

The new season – filmed in sunny California – will mark the first not to air on CBS, as it was confirmed back in February that the American version of the dating series would instead be moving to the streaming service Peacock.
The Wrap confirmed the news, also revealing that the show had been renewed for not one but two more seasons by the streamer. Fans of the UK version will be happy to hear that producers will be keeping a closer eye on our show, with the US version set to be more similar to the Brit edition while also featuring things that may have been a little too NSFW for CBS. Naughty!

Jenny Groom, EVP Entertainment Unscripted Content, said at the time: "Love Island is a highly addictive dating format that is primed for a streaming service like Peacock where we can push boundaries and bring viewers steamy and dramatic twists." Consider us intrigued.
The big news that season 4 of the US version is imminent means it could be a busy summer for fans of the show, as series 8 of the UK version began airing on June 6 and has already seen some mixed reactions to a surprising twist.
Love Island airs on ITV2 and is available via catch up on ITV Hub and Britbox. Love Island USA season 4 will debut on Peacock on July 19.
