The Voice UK's future has been confirmed by ITV after speculation started that it had been officially axed.
ITV told Digital Spy that there is "no truth" to rumours the show will be dropped and that "The Voice UK returns to ITV this year".
Rumours started when a TV news account alleged on Twitter that the upcoming series, which has been pushed to autumn, would be its last. It went further to claim that The Voice Kids at Christmas would be its final airing and that the show was looking for a new home.

In fact, not only has the reality singing show been renewed for an 11th series, but it is coming to screens with a new format to keep things fresh.
The show has created a new round called The Callbacks. This new category will happen straight after the blind auditions and whittle down the contestants for the semi-final. This means the previous rounds (the Battles and the Knockouts) which normally took up that space have either been removed or reimagined.
