The Chase host Bradley Walsh doesn't know his own strength after cracking the show's game board on Wednesday (April 6).
Also recognised for his Doctor Who companion role as Graham O'Brien, the star's moment of madness unfolded when contestant and game programming student Max went up against Mark 'The Beast' Labbett in the hope of winning £35,000 for his team.
"Which of these counties border the other two?" was the question, which Max answered with Wiltshire (over Gloucestershire and Hampshire) – sending Bradley to the edge of his seat.

In the throes of excitement, he then pounded his fist on the board.
"Oh, I've cracked it, I'm so sorry," said Bradley, looking up. "I can't believe that's happened, have we got a spare?"

Joking, he went on to ask the contestant: "You know when you get your £35,000, can you lend me a couple of quid?"
When Wiltshire was confirmed as the correct answer, Bradley explained: "You see why, because I get so into the game! I'm playing with you, I'm thrilled. I knew you would get it. As soon as you put Wiltshire [as the answer], I knew it was right."
Despite Bradley's enthusiasm, Max didn't make it through to the Final Chase and his fellow quizzers were ultimately beaten by The Beast.

While you're here, did you know that the host cheated his way into getting The Chase commissioned by ITV way back when?
"I said, 'If I beat the Chaser, we'll make a series, let's do that'. And they went, 'Yeah, alright, if you can beat the Chaser', because they thought that the general public won't be able to beat these gurus, right?" he previously explained.
"What they didn't realise was the sheets with the questions and the answers on were lying face down on my end of the desk. I could see the print through and I could read the answers backwards, [so] I read them."
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
