Strictly Come Dancing 2021 winners Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice have been showered with love after their reunion performance.

The duo were back in the ballroom for the first time since the Strictly arena tour this past winter for the BBC's fundraising telethon Comic Relief on Friday night (March 18).

To help raise money for those most vulnerable in the UK and beyond (including Ukraine), the duo recreated their waltz to Ellie Goulding's 'How Long Will I Love You?' from the Strictly semi-final.

Sir Lenny Henry also got the chance to speak with Rose and Gio after their performance, where the dancers shared how much it meant to be back together.

"It's really nice to dance together again," Rose told Lenny. "We went through a really special journey. Every time we pair up, it brings back happy memories. We really enjoy dancing together."

Giovanni also reiterated his hopes that people with physical differences continue to feel inspired by the journey Rose took through Strictly last year.
