Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway went all Hollywood tonight (March 12), with the Oscar-nominated Richard E Grant stepping in as guest announcer.
Beloved for his performance in cult classic Withnail and I, Grant's recent credits have included roles in Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Everybody's Talking About Jamie and Loki.
He knows where the party's really at, though, and that's on primetime live TV with three Geordies (that's Ant McPartlin, Dec Donnelly and 'End of the Show Show' headliner Sam Fender).

Thoroughly enjoying Richard's announcement skills – following in the recent footsteps of RuPaul, Paloma Faith and Adam Lambert – Takeaway fans poured onto Twitter with some lovely words for him on Saturday (March 12).

As well as acting as the show's guest announcer for the week, Richard also played a 'guess the movie' game against the clock, as viewers at home acted out famous films with props in the hope of winning a cash prize.
He also joined in with a running joke through the episode where the crew members were slowly disappearing from work early to go to a "mid-series party", as the hosts confirmed that there won't be an episode of Saturday Night Takeaway next week due to live sports coverage.
In other Takeaway news, 'Ant vs Dec' host Stephen Mulhern has revealed why he's been absent from the past few episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway.
"Hello all, Sorry I've been quiet on here recently and thank you for all your lovely messages. I've had some time off and been resting up on doctors orders," he wrote on social media.
"I'm on the mend, I'm happy to say, and looking forward to getting back to work soon. In the meantime I'll put my feet up and watch Saturday Night Takeaway tonight with the rest of you lot.
"Please don't miss me too much! Lots of love, Stephen. X."
With two weeks until the series resumes, hopefully he'll be back by then.
