The Masked Singer US spoilers follow.
The Masked Singer US stars Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong walked off the stage in protest during a recent taping of the show, when former US president Donald Trump's ex-attorney Rudy Giuliani was revealed to be a contestant.
According to Deadline, the Fox version of the hit reality competition was recording its first season 7 episode, which centred on a 'The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly' theme, when the former New York mayor was unmasked.

Due to the instalment not being scheduled to air until March, and it being unclear what the broadcaster will do with the footage between now and then, the publication did not indicate which costume Giuliani donned – or what song he performed, either – during his brief stint in the new series.
While Jeong and Thicke were said to be so gobsmacked by Giuliani's involvement, they stormed off set, the twosome's fellow judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger stayed put.

Although he had proved polarising before that, Giuliani's reputation was recently called into question when he claimed that the 2020 presidential election was rigged against his client Trump.
He also featured in a much talked-about scene in doc-style comedy sequel Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious. Said moment allegedly sees him reach into his trousers and touch his genitals, while reclining on a bed in the presence of Maria Bakalova, the actor playing Borat's daughter, who was posing as a TV journalist.
In response to the scene, Giuliani tweeted: "The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment. At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar."
This isn't the first time The Masked Singer US has drafted in a polarising political figure, either. Back in 2020, the programme was heavily criticised after controversial Republican politician, Sarah Palin, was unveiled as the Bear.
