I'm a Celeb's Matty Lee gets why people vote for Naughty Boy

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! fans have been enjoying seeing Naughty Boy doing trials, having voted for him to take part in the last four.

But poor Naughty has remained clueless as to the reason why viewers at home seem to hate him and want to see him constantly face more horrific challenges in the Castle.

In tonight's episode (December 3), however, Naughty was not left facing the Gruesome Gargoyles trial alone and in partnering up with him, Matty Lee finally figured out why Naughty provides endless entertainment value.

It was the first trial for Matty (Naughty kind of hogged them lately) and he was tasked with entering three different tunnels where he was to be covered with castle critters.

Meanwhile outside, Naughty was tasked with putting his hands into the mouths of a series of gargoyles to push a lever and unlock a rope with a star on for Matty to grab. But each gargoyle represented the animal that was waiting to latch onto Naughty's hand inside.

What to Read Next

After some worms, maggots and cockroaches, Naughty quickly moved on to toads, bearded dragons, lizards, pigeons, naken rats and snakes. And of course, he could not help himself from making his now signature whaling screams with each new gargoyle.

With the last one, he let it all out, so much so that Matty, while covered in bugs and fiddling with knots, found the time to address the viewers at home and say: "I now know why you all vote for him."

Matty's reaction found acclaim online, with one viewer saying: "Matty knows. Give Matty more airtime." "Brilliant Matty," commented another fan while a third added: " LMAOO I LOVE MATTY."
