Good Morning Britain's Alex Beresford had his journey on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire cut short by a technical loophole.
In Wednesday's (November 17) celebrity special episode, the presenter was among one of three contestants who competed for a chance to bring home some money for their chosen charities.
The first one to sit in the chair was comedian and 8 Out of 10 Cats presenter Jimmy Carr, who managed to climb up all the way to the £32,000 question, which revolved around a 1938 locomotive setting a world speed record.
Unfortunately, Jimmy did not know the name of said train engine and had to go home with only £1,000.
Next up was Olympian Christine Ohuruogu who – despite Jeremy Clarkson's jokes that she would perform better than her predecessor – only managed to make it to the £16,000 question about Singapore's airport, where she tapped out.
Having just set her safety net at £8,000 though, Christine did not lose any money and brought home a significant sum for two charities.

The last and final contestant of the night was Alex, who also made it to the £16,000 question, which he answered correctly, and still having one lifeline to go, he was excited to continue his climb.
However, before he could continue, a claxon went off and the studio lighting turned red, which was when Jeremy explained: "And that claxon means it is the end of the show, and because this is a celebrity special, there is no rollover."
Alex was left with a decidedly defeated and perplexed look on his face, only saying: "Ok..."
As he won't be coming back for tomorrow's celebrity special (which will instead feature Meera Syal and Jim Moir), Alex did not lose any of the money he accrued, managing to bring home the biggest jackpot of the night for his charity.
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire airs on ITV.
