DIY SOS host Nick Knowles has said that he will not be leaving the TV show after he was featured in an advert for Shreddies.
The former I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! contestant played a builder in a commercial for the breakfast cereal, which reportedly broke BBC advertising guidelines.
But speaking to The Sun, Knowles insisted that he will be keeping his position as host of the home improvement series, which he has fronted for over two decades.
"I have always said that DIY SOS is more than just a presenting job for me, it's part of me," he said.
"It has my heart and working for the BBC for over 22 years is something I have never taken for granted.
"I will continue filming new episodes of DIY SOS over the coming months and will be back on your screens with the purple shirts next year."

Knowles, however, will not be presenting the DIY SOS Children in Need special later this year as its filming coincides with the ongoing Shreddies campaign.
"The DIY SOS Children in Need special will air in November with a guest presenter and I will be cheering them on from the sidelines," he added.
A joint statement from Knowles and the BBC said: "Both Nick and the BBC have resolved the issue recently reported relating to Nick's commercial agreements and BBC guidelines."
A BBC spokeswoman added: "Nick is an important member of the BBC family and we are pleased that this matter is resolved.
"We will resume filming DIY SOS as soon as it's safe to do so and Nick will be back on screens in 2022."
