Strictly Come Dancing 2020 champion Bill Bailey has reflected on his success.

Partnered with Oti Mabuse during the most recent series, the comedian and actor sailed to victory while mesmerising the judging panel each week.

Joining This Morning presenters Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes for a chat today (January 5), the 55-year-old admitted that he hasn't really had much of a chance to enjoy his triumph.

"Has it all sunk in for you yet?" quizzed Rochelle, before Bill explained: "To be honest, not really, no. It's a bit of a daze really.

"That night, as you'll remember, the new restrictions were imposed so we couldn't really celebrate. So we went home and we've been home ever since really – I've got a little Glitterball [trophy] to remind me that it happened.

Further along, Bill suggested he "had no idea what was gonna happen" during his time on the dancefloor.

"I'd set my expectation bar very low – almost to the point that I was gonna damage myself, fall over, trip over, knock a camera over... you know, cause an accident."

Luckily, the star's "ability to follow a beat" served him well and the rest is history.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One. It's due to return later in 2021.
