Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore has opened up about how her pregnancy has affected work on Celebrity Juice, explaining she has not been able to drink while filming.
The star was confirmed as a team captain on the ITV2 show back in September, and yesterday (December 16) announced that she is expecting a baby with Iain Stirling.
Laura has since spoken to Hunger about working on Celebrity Juice while keeping the news secret, saying: "I'm someone who doesn't like to stop so work has been busy. We were filming Celeb Juice in the studio.

"When we film that show, it's such a show that feels like a night out. Everyone is drinking around me. I've filmed a whole season of Celeb Juice sober, and nobody knew!"
Speaking further of how it feels to be a mother-to-be, Laura admitted it has been a "surreal" and "mad" experience so far.

"Nothing and no one ever tells you that it is your own personal experience," she explained. "One thing I've learned is that everyone has an opinion: what you should be doing, or how you should be feeling. I found the first three months really hard because I was very sick and nauseous.

"There were a few times on live radio where I actually got physically sick during the show. I had one guest in the studio and to this day she still doesn't know that I'm pregnant, and I think she just thought I was hungover.
"I had to run out of the studio and she had to ask herself her own question live on air because I had disappeared! I can't even describe it because every week is so different."
Confirming the baby news on Instagram yesterday, Laura wrote: "Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021. It's been hard to keep such happy news quiet."
Celebrity Juice airs on ITV2. Love Island is available via catch up on ITV Hub.
