Tiger King star Carole Baskin doesn't want to be one of the cool cats and kittens taking part in the Netflix docuseries's second season.

Rumours have been heating up recently about filmmakers Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin working on a coda to their original series, to follow Joe Exotic's attempts to get his conviction overturned in an alleged murder-for-hire plot against Baskin.

Tiger King's directors would presumably also cover the landmark court ruling from this past spring, giving Baskin official control over Exotic's G.W. Zoo in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.

However, Baskin has now made clear to the Radio Times that she will not be involved because she no longer has trust in the production.

"No one has asked me to participate in a second round of Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness and there is no amount of money that would cause me to trust the producers again after their sick betrayal of the animals and me," she said.

"I wasn't paid the first time around, although several people have come forward saying they were paid. That violates the very nature of a documentary along with so many other things that were staged and taken out of context."

Reality telly fans apparently won't get to see Baskin share more about her feud with Joe Exotic on I'm a Celebrity either, as she's ruled out being involved with the series on ethical grounds.

"I strive towards veganism so there is nothing so gross in the plant world, for me to be forced to eat on camera, as to make for entertaining television," she said.

"The show has been criticised by animal lovers for the consumption of live creatures, and no amount of money would make me want to be part of something that disrespects nature that way."

I'm a Celebrity will return later this year on ITV.
