Emma Willis doesn't think The Voice UK will be able to stage its live final any time soon.
The ITV talent competition has essentially been on hold following the Knockout Rounds back in March because of complications of putting together live semi-finals and the finals during the pandemic.
The Voice UK's presenter Emma was asked about the status of those episodes during an appearance on The One Show to promote her Be My Guest charity competition.
"I dunno," she admitted with a chuckle. "Literally, I'm not sure. Like everything at the minute, you just can't call it. We still have The Voice Kids finale to do, and then of course the semi-final and final of the adult version.
"So, hopefully, it will happen towards the end of the year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!"
ITV had previously confirmed it would have to postpone both the live finals of The Voice UK and The Voice Kids, though the channel stopped short of indicating the delay could extend to the end of 2020.

A statement at the time read: "We are in a developing and dynamic situation so we're complying with the guidance from Public Health England and the World Health Organisation to make sure we keep everyone as safe and secure as possible.
"We have taken the difficult decision to postpone The Voice UK semi-final and final until later this year. We will continue to monitor the situation and announce a new date for these shows, which were due on air on March 28 and April 4, in due course."
This announcement came after Elstree Studios managing director Roger Morris indicated that The Voice UK might be able to mount its live final at some point without a studio audience.
The Voice UK and The Voice Kids both air on ITV.
