The US version of The Masked Singer has unveiled its brand new lineup for season 3.

Returning to Fox this Sunday (February 2) straight after the Super Bowl, the new episodes will feature 18 contestants hidden within wild and colourful costumes.

And fans have now been given a first glimpse of this year's performers in disguise. Scroll through the gallery below for more:

Looking like something ripped out of a Pixar movie, we have Miss Monster – a pink-haired, blue-taloned creature with a cyclops eye.

Also featured are the gold-painted Astronaut, cartoonish Banana, a rather dapper Frog in a purple pin-striped suit, and the leather-clad Turtle sporting a mohawk.

Think they sound wacky? Elsewhere in the psychedelic ensemble are Kangaroo, Kitty, Llama (with bonus sunglasses and sticking-out tongue), Mouse, Robot, Swan, Taco and White Tiger (dressed in Egyptian-style armour plating).

And with five more costumes still to be unveiled, bringing the total number of celebs up to 18, we can only guess what other creations they've got planned for us.

It seems The Masked Singer US is really stepping up the visual entertainment for season 3, and don't be surprised to see some of these designs inspire the new costumes on the second UK series.
