It's that time of year where every outlet and/or Twitter user is compiling list upon list upon list: best TV show of the year/decade, best movie, funniest GIF, year of the year award, strangest tweet by Cher... we've even done a huge one to celebrate 20 years of Digital Spy.

If anyone is still working on their lists, then Dave has a suggestion. The channel's official Twitter account shared a clip from Taskmaster today (December 18) with the caption: "If this clip doesn't feature in every 'best TV of the decade' list then a crime has been committed."

What to Read Next

The clip in question features Rhod Gilbert showing Greg Davies and Alex Horne the 'creepiest thing', which turns out to be a short film that is either called 'When you have a party, always ensure you see everybody to the door' or 'The after-party'.

In that film, we see Rhod hiding out in Greg's wardrobe, while the host himself is completely passed out in bed.

From there, the details start to roll out in hilarious fashion, from Greg's realisation he didn't see Rhod leaving his party, to Rhod revealing just how long he was hiding for and how he escaped, and why there's a VHS in the first place.

Check out the clip below:

It was recently confirmed that series 10 of Taskmaster will air on Channel 4 in 2020 and be repeated later on in the year on E4.

Alex Horne has promised that the show will stay the same, while series 9 winner Ed Gamble thinks it's a great idea.

You can catch up with Taskmaster on UKTV Play.
