Gogglebox's Malone family have always been a favourite for fans to watch, whether it's for dad Tom Snr's hilarious comments or just to have a nosey at what treats they have on the table.
But on Friday night's episode (November 29), it was the family's rottweiler Dave who took centre stage, when he tried to be a hero and help some bullied monkeys.

The family settled in to watch David Attenborough's Seven Worlds, One Planet, which saw him visit Gibraltar – home to Europe's only monkeys, the Barbary Macaque.
While the monkeys looked cute, Attenborough explained that a mother and baby were at the bottom of the pecking order and were being bullied by the other monkeys.
Then, in shocking scenes, the mother's baby was kidnapped by the other monkeys, leaving the families watching outraged.

But Dave decided to take matters into his own hands and attacked the television.
Dad Tom immediately jumped up and shouted: "Dave, Dave, no you can't get them. Dave, no they're on the telly.
"Dave, you dickhead! They're on the telly!"
Dave's act of attempted heroism did not go unnoticed by viewers who found his actions both hilarious and admirable.
The story had a happy ending at least as the mother was able to retrieve her kidnapped baby after tricking the other monkeys by enlisting some allies to distract her by grooming each other.
And Dave was able to sit calmly through the rest of the night's telly.
Gogglebox airs Fridays on Channel 4.
