Gracie-Jayne's first performance during the live final of The Voice Kids UK was momentarily stalled during tonight's (July 27) broadcast after the studio audience apparently drowned out her musical cue.

Tasked with singing Nina Simone's evergreen 'Feeling Good', the talented 12-year-old vocalist was seen patiently waiting in her stage position, sat down amongst the front rows of the crowd. However, the silence after their clapping quickly turned a bit awkward.

But thanks to presenter Emma Willis, viewers were handed a quick explanation as to what had happened.

It didn't take long for the Twitter community to get in on the action, with one particular viewer keen to point out Emma's professionalism during what could have been a pretty disastrous moment, while others praised the young performer for carrying on like a pro.

Following Gracie-Jayne's performance, Emma lauded her with: "You are an absolute professional. You handled it amazingly, well done", whilst coach Pixie Lott added: "That is the best you've ever sounded."

Fellow coach Danny Jones was also extremely impressed by the youngster's bravery, telling her that he thought she handled the glitch "better than I would've done".
