The Voice Kids UK kicked off its Battles round tonight (July 6), but one song choice from judge Jessie J had singers and viewers thirsting for Toy Story.

For a split second, many thought Randy Newman's classic track from the Pixar franchise, 'You Got a Friend in Me', was on the cards for her three performers. But then everyone quickly realised that the actual choice was 'You've Got a Friend', by Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway.

Phwoar, talk about a comedown.

The Twitter community were on hand to discuss this epic gaffe, with one particular fan also being fooled by this false Toy Story reference.

They wrote: "Watching #TheVoiceKidsUK and Jessie J says, 'You are going to be singing 'You've Got a Friend', the Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway version,' and one of the boys says, 'At first I thought it was going to be Toy Story's 'You Got a Friend in Me'...' I thought the exact same," followed by a queue of laughing-face emojis.

Some fans were less sympathetic though, finding the whole misinterpretation pretty damn hilarious.

The Voice UK continues next week (July 13) on ITV at 8pm, whilst Toy Story 4 is now in cinemas everywhere.
