The Voice Kids UK returned to ITV tonight (June 22) and judge Danny Jones was feeling a little bit emotional.

Towards the end of the show, young Gracie took to the stage with a rendition of 'It's Quiet Uptown' from Hamilton, but none of the judging quartet decided to spin around their chairs for her.

Gracie's family were backstage supporting her through the audition, and one particular moment with her granddad Wayne was enough to set off the waterworks for Danny, as the pair shared an impromptu duet in-front of the adoring crowd.

Pixie Lott, Jessie J, Danny and will.i.am then all joined the vocalist onstage for a hug each, with Danny questioning: "Has anybody got a tissue or what?"

We thought the smooth "Oh this? It's just my hay fever" might've worked a little better...

But then again, who doesn't love some raw emotion from the judges, right?

It seems like fans posting online were also struck by Gracie and her granddad's special relationship, as more tears cascaded onto the Twittersphere.

Elsewhere on the show, Danny also decided to invite a special guest out from behind-the-scenes.

Enter his little boy, Cooper.

At just over one-year-old, Cooper sat on his dad's knee and had a go at pressing the big red button – after meeting his "aunties" and "uncle" on the judging panel.

The Voice Kids UK continues next week (June 29) at 8pm on ITV.
