Preston admitted that he was surprised to see Chantelle facing eviction during a chat with Nick this evening.
As the pair conducted a private conversation at the carousel, Nick admitted that he can understand Nikki being up as she has a "me me me" attitude.
"But Chantelle?" asked Preston, visibly taken aback that his ex-wife had been nominated. Nick replied: "Yes, that's very surprising," before the songwriter hit upon a theory.
"I've realised why Chantelle would be. She was in the room when Coolio hid the shoes," he mused.
"It was a woman," nodded Nick, as Preston declared: "Nadia would have done it."
"I thought I would be [up for eviction]. I'm older than most of them. I did guess Ulrika would be," added the series one contestant. "Oh well, it's only a gameshow."
