The nation collectively breathed a sigh of relief when Danny Dyer confirmed that his daughter Dani and her Love Island boyfriend Jack Fincham were still together following breakup rumours.
However, Danny wasn't done with dropping bombshells on last night's (December 15) Jonathan Ross Show – he also revealed that he told Dani not to go on the reality show in the first place.
"I did tell her not to do it," he said. "You don't encourage your kid to go on Love Island, do ya?"
Danny had some brutal comments about the show's reputation, and admitted that he feared Dani would be encouraged to have sex on camera.
He said: "Your daughter's encouraged to get with a geezer and possibly have a roll-about on telly."
He then admitted that he "got it wrong", and that Love Island was a good thing for Dani, especially since Dani and Jack did not have a "roll-about" in the villa.

"She did it with dignity," he said. "She did find a geezer, but she didn't do none of that."
As well as sharing his parental concerns about Dani participating in Love Island, Danny also gave us some much needed clarity about what was going on with that break-up Instagram story.
"They've had a row," he said. "She's got a bit emotional. I think she's whacked that up [the Instagram story] and immediately regretted it.
"They've had a little argument as we all do."
Dani and Jack will return to our screens for Love Island: The Christmas Reunion, which airs on Monday, December 17 on ITV2.
