When the shocking news of Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham's split broke last night (December 6), we declared both love and Christmas as cancelled.

Sadly, we don't actually have the power to do that, so both love and Christmas are going ahead as usual – including that long-awaited Love Island reunion!

Yes, after an incredible summer of grafting, this year's Love Island contestants will be forced back together once more for a very special, and suitably festive, reunion event.

Don't believe us? Well, a brand new trailer for Love Island: The Christmas Reunion has finally dropped, and well, it's all a little bit awkward really.

The Christmas Reunion, which will feature everyone's favourite couples (and singleton Dr Alex) back together "for one night only", will air on Monday, December 17.

Here's hoping Dani and Jack rekindle their romance in time for the special. After all, who doesn't love a Christmas miracle?
