Darnell told the housemates about the US prison system in the early hours of this morning.
As the housemates chatted in bed, the conversation turned to his prison stint. He was reportedly sent there for his gang activities in America.

He first explained the difference between jail and prison, saying: "If you're in prison then you're going to be in there for at least 366 days or longer. Jail is where you wait to find out what your sentence will be."
Likening the experience to being on Big Brother, he continued: "You'd get beaten up for associating with the guards. They're the enemy. It's like telling Big Brother that you love them - they're the oppressors and you're a bitch if you do. If you're nice to Big Brother then they're not going to be any nicer to you."
He then explained that he had gone to school while in prison and had read Shakespeare. "I'd be so excited to go to school every day because I'd be like, 'Dog, I'm going to see Mrs Johnson!'" he said.
An enthralled Rex muttered: "This is one of the most interesting conversations we've had in here."
