Nicole: "I was never myself in there"

Nicole became the tenth person to leave the Big Brother house tonight after she attracted a record 94.04% of the public vote.

The student emerged from the house to a chorus of boos, prompting Davina to tell her: "That was quite a heavy reception."

The highlights of Nicole's interview:

On the crowd's booing: "Obviously it wasn't very nice but I was expecting it. I wasn't expecting cheers."

On entering the house as Rex's girlfriend: "I was never myself. It was a hard situation being Rex's girlfriend... They all had their friends and they didn't want to get to know me at all."

On her threats to walk out: "I was really upset. I wanted to go and come home but then I thought, 'There's no point'... I knew I was going."

On being perceived as miserable: "I was never myself in there... I'm usually so fun and bubbly but not in there... I knew so much from the outside world that I couldn't say."

After watching footage of her relationship with Rex: "It's horrible, it's not nice. That's not the way it is. I knew stories about him but it was so hard because he was going on about trusting me... We are so strong but for the couple of months before Big Brother we weren't that strong. But I could never say what I wanted to get off my chest."

On her treatment of Mikey: "He kept commenting at me and saying nasty comments. Rex said to him at one point 'Why are you picking on a 19-year-old?'. He had really upset me and was really nasty to me. That's why we thought the task was unfair... I actually got on with Mikey, we had a laugh. I never thought there was a problem with Mikey and I apologise."
