Rex briefly "forgot" that girlfriend Nicole was in the house as he sat on the sofas with the group in the early hours of this morning.
Nicole was in bed as Rex talked to Sara, Darnell, Kat, Rachel and Mo in the main house.
"That's so weird," he told them. "I forgot Nicole was here. It was quite refreshing." He added: "She's not making it very easy for me in here, I can tell you that."
Sara asked whether he would rather she was here than not, to which Rex immediately answered yes.
"Oh yeah, definitely," he said, before continuing: "But she doesn't want to do anything fun. I think because she's been watching, she feels like she's already been in the house."
He then asked the group to "try to talk to her as much as possible tomorrow".
