We still have a veritable eternity until the final season of Game of Thrones graces us with its presence, but the cast and crew are already out there shooting the show's closing moments.

Fans over in Spain have spotted the usual suspects as they arrive for filming – Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Peter Dinklage, we see you – but there have been some intriguing sightings.

Thanks to the raven-eyed fans over on Winter Is Coming, we've learned that Thrones is either dishing out some seriously unexpected surprises in its last outing – or it's trolling us.

Both Tom Wlaschiha and Vladimir Furdik have been spotted near to the ruins of Italica, meaning that fans could be seeing Jaqen H'ghar and the Night King in the Dragonpit.

That said, it could easily be a cunning bit of misdirection organised by producers to throw fans off the scent – particularly since Wlaschiha wasn't exactly keeping a low-profile.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until next year to see if Jaqen H'ghar and the Night King will make an appearance together in Game of Thrones, as the crew does have a habit of tricking us.

After all, let's not forget about that cruel 'return' of Shae we were teased with.
