NTAs 2022: All the red carpet looks from the National Television Awards

The National Television Awards are upon us again. The biggest and brightest stars from the world of British TV headed to Wembley Arena on Thursday, October 13 for the annual event, which hands out awards for the best Serial Drama, Daytime TV and best New Drama, to name but a few.
Unfortunately, Ant and Dec, who have won the Best TV presenter accolade for the last 2o years, were forced to miss the event after they both tested positive for COVID-19 this week. However, the red carpet was awash with famous faces, including NTA host Joel Dommett, our favourite soap stars and the many talented nominees.
In the running for best New Drama this year were Trigger Point, Time, This Is Going to Hurt and Heartstopper. Joe Locke and Kit Connor, stars of the Netflix coming-of-age show, were both in the running for the Rising Star award. They went head-to-head with Coronation Street's Paddy Bever and Bridgerton actress Charithra Chandran. Meanwhile, the popular period drama joined Call the Midwife, Peaky Blinders and The Split in the mix for the best Returning Drama.
