Luther fans might have to wait a little longer for a film as Idris Elba reveals he's not done with the small screen.
The BBC One drama, which aired its fourth series in late 2015, has been the subject of movie speculation for a long time.
"Without saying too much, I think TV audiences deserve a little bit more before we step onto the big silver screen," Elba told Loaded.
Discussing what's next to come from Luther, he said: "When and how and what that will feel like, we're not sure yet. My instinct is it'll be TV, but film is just definitely waiting in the wings."
However, it's swings and roundabouts as the nation's favourite sociopath might make a return.
Alice Morgan, portrayed by Golden Globe winner Ruth Wilson, was absent from last year's Luther.

But he did let slip that "there's definitely an element of Luther that isn't whole without Alice. Without a doubt."
Her character is presumed dead in the show, but her fate remains shrouded in mystery.
