The channel announced on Twitter today (October 4) that fans can soon expect to see the fantasy series returning to screens.

Inspired by Greek mythology, Atlantis stars Robert Emms as Pythagoras, Jack Donnelly as Jason and Mark Addy as Hercules.
Last month, Jemima Rooper - who plays Medusa - hinted at what viewers can expect from the upcoming second series.

Atlantis also features Aiysha Hart, Sarah Parish, Alexander Siddig and Juliet Stevenson.
The Fall's Emmett J Scanlan will be joining the cast in series two.
