Coronation Street's Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) will be visited by her biological son, as Alex Neeson is set to return to the cobbles soon.
What to Read Next
Mount Pleasant and Love, Lies and Records actor James Burrows will be joining the soap as Michelle's son after Alex has been away from Weatherfield for 10 years.
It was revealed last year that Alex would be returning to our screens in 2018 after last appearing in the soap back in 2008.
Back then, Michelle had found out that Ryan (Sol Heras) wasn't her biological son after a hospital mix-up.
Soon after, Alex turned up in Weatherfield but still didn't want much to do with his real mother, though it sounds like he's now back on his feet after finding a job in a medical centre.
It's safe to say that Michelle has had a pretty difficult few years since last seeing her biological son. She's suffered from a miscarriage and had to support her new boyfriend Robert Preston, who's battling a gambling problem and testicular cancer.
But it sounds like Alex's return to the street won't be the sweet family reunion Michelle is probably hoping for, as he's still planning on keeping his distance from her.
Could there be an ulterior motive behind his visit? And will the two ever make up properly? Looks like we're going to have to tune in to find out.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
