Kate Garraway was left in hysterics on Good Morning Britain this morning (April 9), after she discovered something unexpected lurking in her hair...

As she opened the show alongside co-host Eamonn Holmes, the TV presenter scratched her head, only to find a stray hair roller still in place at the back of her neck.

Pulling the offending roller from her head and holding it up to the camera, Kate collapsed in a fit of giggles.

"I've just discovered that I've still got a roller in my hair," she explained, as Eamonn began laughing beside her.

"I wondered what was itching me!" she added, as the whole studio erupted.

"They left a roller in," Kate continued, suggesting that the GMB styling team was behind the entertaining mishap.

"I'm genuinely blushing," she added.

As Kate chucked the rogue roller on the floor, Eamonn joked: "There could be a bird in there [her hair]. There could be a nest."

A smiling Kate agreed, adding: "There could be a nest – there could be anything."

Safe to say, GMB viewers were clearly amused by the malfunction...

"Heads are gonna roll," joked one fan, while another added: "This has made me laugh all morning, you are the Bridget Jones of GMB ...... Hilarious."

Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays from 6.30am on ITV.
