It seemed to be what viewers were after after some complained that Troy: Fall of a City was winding down a bit last week.
Tonight's episode definitely ramped things back up again.
In episode 6, viewers were left heartbroken after Patroclus was murdered by Hector in The Battle on the Beach.
Paris was reunited with Helen and his family, who at that point decided it was the right time to fight the Greeks and end the war.
The Trojans led by Hector and Paris made their way over to the Greek camp where they burned their supplies and caused havoc.
It was obvious how much trouble they were in but still Achilles refused to engage. This led to a frustrated Patroclus donning his armour and fighting in place of Achilles.

Hector eventually killed Patroclus but soon after realised that it wasn't Achilles and returned back home.
This left Achilles grieving and yearning for revenge and so he followed Paris and Hector back home where he demanded a fight, but not before he slit the throat of several Amazons.
The episode's closing moments were the most shocking, when Hector agreed to fight Achilles in front of his whole family including his wife and newborn baby.
The brutal fight ended with Achilles slashing Hector's tendons, severing his fingers and then stabbing him in his heart.
He then attached his bloody corpse to his carriage and horse and rode away from Troy...
Troy: Fall of a City continues next Saturday on BBC One at 9.10pm
