Everyone loves a comedian who can poke fun at themselves, but Jimmy Carr may have taken irony to a whole new level on Room 101.
Sending tax loopholes into the Orwellian room of hatred, Jimmy is sure to grab a few more headlines with this one.
For those who don't know, Carr was at the centre of a tax-avoidance scandal back in 2012. Even PM David Cameron condemned him, and Carr has been trying to overcome the controversy ever since.
Now in its 18th series on the BBC, you can check out the clip of Carr's decision to laugh at tax loopholes – airing this Friday (February 2) – below:
Previous guests have often opted to send general, impersonal things tumbling into the abyss of Room 101 – Oyster Cards, waiting in queues, those who sneeze and don't wash their hands – so we're kind of impressed by Carr's decision to pluck a choice directly from his own personal turmoil.
Coming in the wake of the comedian's own revelation that the tax revelations nearly ended his career, it's good to see that he can laugh at the story now.
