Channel 4's multi-cultural school drama Ackley Bridge continues tomorrow night (June 28) and we've got an exclusive clip just for you.

In the clip, Nas (Amy Leigh-Hickman) looks on nervously as some lads in the class decide to out their teacher as a lesbian:

"I'm gay, it's not a big deal, and it's none of your business" – we wish every coming out was as low-key sassy as this.

This scene follows on from Nas admitting her own sexuality to best friend Missy (Poppy Lee Friar) in last week's episode.

Elsewhere in the episode, we can probably expect to see the storyline of Miss Carter (Jo Joyner) and Mr Nawaz's (Adil Ray) affair continue, and we can't reveal too much, but something big is about to happen that will have devastating consequences...

Ackley Bridge debuted a couple of weeks ago, so you've not got too much to catch up on if you want to get up to speed.

What to Read Next

Going from the reactions from fans, it seems like the show is the perfect thing to fill that Waterloo Road-shaped hole in your life – the first episode had a girl post nude photos of her mum online, for goodness sake. Can't get much more school-based soap than that.

The show was also meant to feature a bomb hoax plot in the first episode, but it was cut due to the Manchester terror attack.

Ackley Bridge continues tomorrow at 8pm on Channel 4.
