On the dawn of International Women's Day, Good Morning Britain's Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid absolutely conquered MEP Janusz Korwin-Mikke – who's been labelled the most sexist man in politics for his pointed comments about women.

Piers and Susanna welcomed Korwin-Mikke on the show politely – just days after a rant in the parliamentary chamber where the Polish MEP tried to argue that women should be paid less than men. However as the interview progressed, the tables soon turned.

Streamed live from Poland, Korwin-Mikke, dressed in a suit and a red dickie bow tie, tried to argue about how he thought women should be paid less because they are the weaker, less intelligent, least important and the shorter sex. (Yes – he actually just attempted to justify inequality with height).

And at that very moment, Piers totally lost his chill (and we're sure he wasn't the only one).

The controversial presenter responded to Korwin-Mikke by saying: "Do you understand that when you say that no International Women's Day, what you're really doing is showing the world that you're just a horrendous sexist pig?"

But wait – that wasn't all. Korwin-Mikke went on to claim that blondes earn more than brunettes.

Wow.

And despite saying she felt she'd been "rendered speechless" by Korwin-Mikke's rant at one point, Susanna said: "I'm astonished by what you're saying because I mean, I think it's fantastic that you think women are wiser than men.

"But to argue that there is a scientific basis for women to be less intelligent than men sounds like utter nonsense, frankly.

"I don't understand how you can possibly justify a pay gap based on the fact that women are shorter than men – because whatever your argument, that is complete rubbish."

And as Korwin-Mikke repeatedly tried to interrupt during the interview (hang on a minute – do you know you're talking to the most gobby presenter on morning TV?), Piers demanded: "Let me ask you, if women are less intelligent than men, how can you say that women are less intelligent than men when you yourself sound so unbelievably stupid?"

Awkwardly, the politician claimed to have not heard the question – and Piers fired back with: "Because you are stupid."

Of course, this didn't sit well with Korwin-Mikke. He labelled Piers an "idiot" because he suggested that his ideas about women being less intelligent were concluded by science.

FYI: Human biology, physics, ecology, oceanography, geology, meteorology, botany – and we might as well say Zoology whilst we are at it – does not determine a woman's worth.
