There are certain things at Christmas that are a given – you'll hear Slade on repeat, every man's Lynx Africa collection is about to be replenished, and the John Lewis Christmas advert will go viral...

But just as you thought all that Bounce Bounce hype (yes, we're looking at you, Buster) was over, John Lewis has recreated its past five Christmas adverts out of LEGO.

Yep, to celebrate the 10th John Lewis Christmas advert, the department store has teamed up with Bright Bricks to create five scenes from the past five adverts made entirely out of the colourful building blocks.

Just don't step on them.

The five adverts include this year's Buster the Boxer, last year's Man on the Moon, 2014's Monty the Penguin, 2013's The Bear and the Hare, and The Journey - which was 2012's festive offering.

Almost 10,000 bricks went into creating the five scenes, which took seven 'expert Lego builders' (yes, that's a real job) a total of 116 hours to construct.
