As silly as planking and awe-inspiring as the Harlem Shake, the latest craze to hit social media is the Mannequin Challenge.

For the past six months it's been sweeping the world, causing people to pause like a Madame Tussauds waxwork as a camera whips around them.

Joining the ranks of Adele, Hillary Clinton and Beyonce, who have all given it a go, Lorraine and her ITV team hold their poses for a remarkable 1 minute and 45 seconds in a new clip.

To the tinkling sounds of the piano, a camera sweeps from backstage past slumped producers and agitated runners to front of house, where frantic cameramen are statuesque, make-up artists are paused mid-fluff and a wild snake is static.

Lorraine Kelly was joined in the escapade by Mark Heyes, Dr Hilary, Ross King, Tony Hadley and Jake Quickenden. While there were no shaking hands or accidental quavers, there were a few blinks.

Lorraine, who is in the background of a few of the shots, is the final person the camera lands on. With one hand over her mouth and another raised in the air (representing shock we assume, but it looks a little like she was pulling a Native American war cry pose), she then breaks into giggles and everyone claps the team.

This Morning pulled off a similar feat yesterday with Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield, Rylan Clark-Neal and the morning show's team giving the Mannequin Challenge their best shot.
