The very fabric of time and space is ripped to shreds in a creepy new teaser for Doctor Who's YA spinoff Class.
In the halls of Coal Hill Academy, something or someone is desperately trying to tear down the walls of reality… which means our entire planet is in jeopardy.
A time-space tear enveloping Doctor Who's most famous school at least echoes the crack in Amy Pond's wall, which swallowed up the existence of anyone or anything touched during Matt Smith's first series.
Whether that same crack in space and time is reappearing in the walls of Coal Hill or we're dealing with an entirely new threat remains to be seen.
Peter Capaldi is definitely dropping in for Class's series premiere, which introduces Coal Hill physics teacher Miss Quill (Katherine Kelly) and the sixth form students banding together to protect our world.
Longtime fans of Doctor Who will remember Coal Hill as the academy where The Doctor's former companion Clara Oswald once taught and where granddaughter Susan once attended.

In a recent behind-the-scenes featurette, Class showrunner Patrick Ness promised a grittier and sexier show than many Doctor Who fans are used to.
"The Doctor's done things in this school, so what effect does that have on the people he leaves behind? How do they see it? And that's really interesting to me to get another point of view on this massive, massive universe," he hinted.
"Class is funny, moving, exciting, scary, sexy and it's true, I hope, to what teenagers feel like their lives are."
BBC Three's Class will launch with a double-bill on Saturday, October 22.
